Leah Doherty is an American journalist working for WOIO as a sports anchor and reporter since joining the station in July 2023. Previously, she worked as a sports reporter and weekend anchor at WMTV in Madison, Wisconsin for 2 years.

Doherty joined Texas Tech University in 2015 when she finished her high school education. In 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. During college, she worked as a sports and news intern at KAMC and KLBK. Further, she was a content creator for Double T Insider and Odyssey Online.
