Len Jennings is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KMBC 9 News in Kansas City where he serves the station as a Sports Director since June 2012. Prior to KMBC 9 News, he was working in Fort Myers, Florida for nearly 15 years.

Jennings works with KMBC 9 News where he serves the station as a Sports Director and brings the latest sports news to his viewers. When he was working in Fort Myers, he covered brush fires, a Super Bowl, two shuttle launches, hurricanes, and elections. He states that his most challenging assignment was following his friend and colleague as he struggled with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. This series won two Florida AP Awards.
Len began his television career in 1992 as a sports anchor/reporter in Burlington, VT at WCAX-TV. He was named sports director at WFTX-TV in Fort Myers in 1997. In 2001, he made the switch to the news at a station across town, WZVN-TV & WBBH-TV.
He states that he is happy to make Kansas City his new home. Jennings has been involved with several charitable organizations and is looking forward to getting involved in the community. He is a proud graduate of Boston College where she obtained a Degree in Communications in the year 1992. Away from work, he enjoys playing hockey, tennis, and skiing. He has participated in 2 marathons and several half-marathons. Asides from this, he has participated in a Tough Mudder.
