Leslie Draffin is an American reporter/anchor/consultant working at KCEN-TV, Texas where she serves as the station’s Evening News Anchor at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. Draffin officially joined the station’s news family in 2017.

Draffin is an Evening News Anchor for 5, 6, and 10 p.m. news at KCEN TV in Temple, Texas. Leslie shoots, writes, edits, and produces a weekly segment called, Your Best Life, on KCEN. Draffin mainly focuses on ways to live a healthier life, diet trends, and fitness, and spotlights inspirational people in the Central Texas community. She also works as an independent consultant for Rodan and Fields, personal Skincare.
Before joining KCEN she worked at KOKH FOX 25 as a morning anchor and therefore woke up extra early. She worked there from December 2013 to December 2016. She was part of a team that won two statewide awards for Best Newscast in Oklahoma City.
At KOKH, she was a morning anchor for Fox 25’s five-hour, weekday morning newscast. Draffin also produced stories for their 5 pm newscast where she mainly focused on consumer and health news. Leslie was proud to be involved with the warriors for freedom organization which helps veterans with PTSD to get back into the community through hunting and sporting events.
From November 2011 to December 2013, Leslie, worked at KTAL, in Shreveport, Louisiana as a morning anchor. She anchored the weekday 2-hour morning newscast and also booked features guests from healthy eating options. Draffin is passionate about supporting veterans and military members. Reporting on issues affecting our servicemen and women is so close to her heart since her boyfriend is a Navy veteran, and both of her grandfathers served in WW2.
From February 2010 to November 2011, Draffin worked at Comporium Communications as a Tv reporter. While working at CN2, she was a multimedia journalist covering mainly education and local politics. Draffin worked with many state and city lawmakers.
Leslie is a foster dog mom with a local rescue group and has helped many dogs find their forever families therefore has a true heart for helping animals. Away from her work Draffin spends her time entertaining her own fur-baby Gunner: a 170-pound Great Dane. She is also an accomplished pianist, tailgate enthusiast, DIYer, and frugal fashionista.
