Lexi Swatt is an American journalist working for WNYT serving as a sports reporter. She is also the host of The Game Day Hoops.

Swatt is a journalist who previously worked in Norfolk, Virginia, but is no stranger to the Capital Region and Section II sports. She nonetheless was a part of Monmouth Digital Network and the college radio station WMCX and covered the Hawks basketball team during their regular-season championship year, also known as the “Monmouth Bench” year prior to Norfolk.
Swatt spent some time as an intern at CBS Sports, and the New York Jets where she was given the chance to enclose major sports events including the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Houston, and Super Bowl 50. In the previous year, Syracuse made it to the National Semifinal, and when Villanova beat UNC at the buzzer for the National Championship.
She used to play basketball, softball, hockey, and Lacrosse at a young age. Swatt was also a Junior Captain of the 2011 Section II Field Hockey Championship team. while still in the purple and gold, Swatt earned multiple Foothills All-Star team recognitions. She attended Monmouth University where she graduated. She is also the host of The Game Day Hoops.
Swatt started her career when she worked for the Young Athletes team at Bleacher Report in their NYC offices where she was a Production Assistant. While there, she produced her own College Football Weekly content and traveled the country working with high school 4 and 5-star athletes to make their college commitment visions come to life for “The Commitment” series. She, later on, moved to Fort Lauderdale to participate in the production group that launched CBS Sports HQ. Additionally, she worked for “Reiter’s Block” with CBS Sports analyst and writer Bill Reiter where she served as the Editor and Assistant Producer. NASCAR events like the Championship Weekend, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Daytona 500 are also some of the stories she covered while still in South Florida.
