Lindsay Storrs Biography

Lindsay Storrs is an American Meteorologist/Host working with KUTV where she serves the station as a weekend meteorologist and co-host for 2News This Morning Weekend Edition. She joined the 2 News team in July 2014.

Lindsay graduated from Orem High School and began her broadcast studies at KBYU while attending Brigham Young University. She earned a magna cum laude in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Physical Geography. Later on, she completes her post-graduate studies in Meteorology at the USDA Graduate School in Washington, D.C.

She developed a love for it when she was nine years old and learned about tornadoes in her science class. Asides from that, she was fascinated by the subject and, at that young age, made a goal to become and be a broadcast meteorologist.

She began her career in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she works as a Chief Meteorologist for the local affiliate station. Later on, she went on to move to Reno, Nevada where she was working for the local NBC affiliate as the Weekend Meteorologist. The year 2004 saw her return home to Utah, where she joined the 2 News Weather Team.

She is a proud member of the American Meteorological Society and holds their Certified Broadcast Meteorologist(CBM) Seal. Additionally, the Associated Press has also recognized her work with awards for both her weathercasts and severe weather updates. She and her family reside in Utah Valley. She enjoys blogging, eating chocolate, spending time with her family, and traveling.
