Adam Mikulich is an American Anchor/Reporter working with KUTV News where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor and joined the station in the month of July 2010. Previously, he was working with FOX Sports Northwest in Bellevue, Washington where he was serving the station as a Producer.

Mikulich works with KUTV News where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor. He is a proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. He has put together a resume that includes stops in Western Washington, Central Illinois, the greater Salt Lake area, and Southeast Idaho. He states that he considers himself a jack-of-all-trades sports guy.
Earlier on in his career, he states that some of the best advice he received was to learn all facets of the industry and that on-camera stuff would come naturally. He states that that is the reason one might run into him out at a sporting event with his sleeves rolled up and a camera on his shoulder.
He kick-started his career working with KIFI Local News 5 in Idaho Falls/ Pocatello where he was helping re-invent a great tradition of high school sports coverage. Mikulich state that nothing beats giving it up for local kids. He further explains that to put kids in the spotlight and seeing the smiles on their faces makes him feel like a million dollars.
Later on, after making a stop in the gem state, he was working as a Sports Director at WCIA (CBS) in Champaign, Illinois. There, he worked for more than two years making trips to nine of the (then) eleven campuses in the Big Ten Conference. Asides from this, he has also lived a lifelong dream of covering the 2009 MLB All-Star Game in St. Louis.
When he joined the KUTV, he was anchoring Talkin’ Sports for the first time a short three days later. He states that it was a lottery win for him to be hired by 2 News. He explains that when making the drive out there and the lay of the land, he started forming into mountains and it felt like a true homecoming for him.
Mikulich was on the front line coverage of “Jimmermania” and the only reporter to visit the BYU basketball star’s hometown of Glens Falls, NY, and tell his back story. Asides from that, he has done NCAA Tournament trips to Denver and New Orleans. He has also done bowl games in Dallas, San Diego, and Boise.
Asides from that, he has taken fly casting on the Middle Provo, golfing at some of Utah’s top courses, and fishing in Alaska. This is in addition to daring to try Cross Fit with a camera rolling, cooking in the 2 News kitchen, filling in on Fresh Living from time to time, and swimming with brine shrimp in the Great Salt Lake, into the mountains running RAGNAR.
The Snohomish, Washington native bleeds WAZZU Cougar Crimson and Gray. Away from work, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys going looking for wildlife, running trails, and fly fishing. He states that Utah is perfect for him and plans on being a perfect fit for Utah’s viewers.
