Boetsch works with KKTV 11 News in Colorado Springs where she serves the station as an Evening Anchor. In the month of June 2019, he and his wife packed up their house in Jacksonville, Florida, and made a cross-country trip to Colorado when she was about six months pregnant. She is, however, no stranger to the snow. Boetsch earned his bachelor’s degree in Broadcast journalism from Illinois State University.
She was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and lived in Illinois before moving to Florida. She had spent the last year working for Scripps TV’s National News Team as a freelance reporter and fill-in anchor on their national shows. Asides from that, she has also worked as a host of “Good to Know,” a national show promoting good news across the country.
Boetsch has also previously worked for six years where he was working for First Coast News, Additionally, she has spent most of her time working on the morning show, Good Morning Jacksonville, as a live reporter and one of the anchors. Asides from that, she has also covered several hurricanes which include Hurricane Irma and Matthew, and also traveled to the panhandle to cover Hurricane Michael. Asides from this, she has also helped in launching a digital program known as FirstCoachNow, a short newscast delivered through social media.
She kick-started her career working in television at KHQA-TV located in Quincy, Illinois where she was serving the station as a reporter, anchor, producer, and weekend weather anchor. Together with her family, they enjoy spending time outdoors which is one of the reasons they decided to move to Colorado.
