Lindsey Slater is an American meteorologist working for WISN-TV as a morning meteorologist from 4:30 to 7 a.m. Previously, she was a morning and midday meteorologist at KSPR-TV in Springfield, Missouri.

Slater earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Carroll University in 2008. After that, she enrolled at Mississippi State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Meteorology in 2010.

Slater serves as a morning meteorologist from 4:30 to 7 a.m. on WISN-TV and at 11 am on 12 News. She joined the station in June 2016 working as a weekend evening meteorologist before later being promoted to morning meteorologist. Prior to moving to Milwaukee, Lindsey worked in Springfield, Missouri as a morning and midday meteorologist at KSPR-TV. She served the station for four years from June 2012 to June 2016.
Lindsey started her broadcasting career as a morning meteorologist at WDBD-TV, the Fox 40 affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi. In her role, she covered multiple news including the MS tornado, EF-4 Yazoo, and the tornado outbreaks of April 2011 striking the southeast. Slater also co-hosted a show morning show from 7 to 9 am at Fox 40 A.M. On top of this, she also reported various snowstorms, an EF-5 tornado struck Joplin, and several ice storms.
Before working at WDBD-TV, Lindsey interned at WKOW TV Channel 27 from May 2008 to January 2009. She also interned at WISN 12 News where she worked together with Chief Meteorologist Mark Baden. Apart from working as a journalist, Lindsey worked as a graphics assembler at Weather Central from August 2008 to January 2009. Besides this, she also worked for Noaa National Weather Service as a Volunteer for eleven months.
