Liz Koh is an American Emmy-Award Winning Reporter and Anchor working for WAFB-TV as a morning anchor and reporter. Previously, she worked for KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she served as a reporter, MMJ, and producer.

Koh attended Hoffman Estates High School in 2006 where she graduated with a diploma in 2010. She then joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she received a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism in 2014.

Koh works as a morning anchor and consumer reporter at WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She joined the station in August 2016 working as a reporter and MMJ from August 201 to May 2020. During her tenure at WAFB-TV, Liz has covered significant news including the August 2016 flood, local shooting, and Hurricane Laura. She also worked as a co-anchored where she reported Hurricane Ida and helped in opening up daily news on OTT platforms.
Liz previously served as a reporter, MMJ, and producer at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana. While there, she was in charge of delivering weekend newscasts, updating reporters, and writing web stories. Koh was also the only reporter to capture video of the suspect that killed State Trooper Steven Vincent in August 2015. She served the station for one year and four months from April 2015 to July 2016.
Before joining KPLC-TV, Liz worked for WICD-TV in Champaign where she served as a news intern from May 2013 to May 2014. Prior to working at WICD-TV, she returned to work at The Daily Illini in Champaign serving as a videocast writer and anchor. While at The Daily, Koh was responsible for editing videos, writing scripts, and uploading social media platforms.
Liz began her broadcast journey at WPGU 107.1 serving as an on-air personality. She spends one year and eight months working for the station from February 2011 to September 2012. Before that, she served as a health unit intern at NBC News in Chicago. While at NBC News, Liz packaged health stories and researched and edited videos. Previously, she worked for The Daily Illini where she served as a printed reporter from February 2011 to December 2011. Aside from working as a journalist, Liz is also working as an Adjunct Professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
