Rachel Bogle Biography

Rachel Bogle is an American Emmy Award-Winning journalist working for WMBF-TV as an anchor. She joined the station from Indianapolis, Indiana, where she served as a local staple in the radio and television news industry.

Bogle also worked for the Indiana Fever basketball teams and Indiana Pacers where she served as the emcee and in-house host. That was prior to her working on RadioNOW 100.9 in Indianapolis for more than six years where she served as the co-host of “Mornings with Kyle and Rachel.” She moved to TV  in 2017 whereby she worked for WTTV CBS4 in Indianapolis and served as the feature reporter and morning traffic anchor. She also led the well-known franchise segment famously known as In Your Neighborhood which featured hot sports, organizations, and local businesses.

Bogle has nonetheless managed to win several awards due to her unquestionable skills in journalism. For instance, she won an Emmy Award for “Best Morning Newscast” and also attained multiple EMMY nominations for her feature reporting, including her series which featured five of IndyCar’s most famous multi-generation racing families, the series was known as “Legends of Racing.”

Bogle is also one of the Junior League and enjoys being involved in helping her community in any way she could. For more than 10 years, she has sacrificed her time and effort for the Miss America Organization and also hosted various events for Special Olympics Indiana for over 7 years, coordinated a free women’s self-defense class taught by former UFC fighter Chris Lytle. She has evidently sacrificed her time, efforts, and funds to a local domestic violence shelter in Indiana called the Julian Center. Lastly, she has hosted charity events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Indiana Emergency Response Conference, Kiwanis Club, and numerous local fire departments. Bogle is also the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Medal award for volunteering over 500 hours in one year.
