Mackenzie Bart is an American meteorologist working with Fox 8 where she serves as a weekday meteorologist. Prior to joining FOX 8, team, she worked at 10TV News where she served as a weather reporter.
She was brought up down the road from one of her favorite forecasters, Punxsutawney Phil thus she is familiar with the snow. While she was growing up, she would spend many hours watching The Weather Channel with her grandparents thus she began loving the weather.
In addition, she witnessed the aftermath of the Joplin tornado outbreak and this led her to study Atmospheric Sciences at The Ohio State University. In 2014, she has crowned Miss Ohio and she finished the Miss America competition. After she had completed college, she worked in Fort Myers, Florida where she covered tropical systems, inclusive of Hurricane Irma. She later returned to Columbus, Ohio to forecast the ups and downs of the Ohio Valley.
