Maggie Glynn is an American Correspondent/Reporter known for working for KXAN-TV where she served the station as a Texas Capitol Correspondent/Reporter on the Texas Legislature among other statewide issues in Austin. Asides from this, she also reports for a dozen stations in Texas. She served the KXAN-TV team between the month of February 2020 and September 2022 when she left the station serving as a Weekend Morning Anchor. She now serves as the Vice-President of The MACH 1 Group a role she undertook in the month of September 2022.

Glynn worked with KXAN News where she served the station as a Capitol Correspondent/Reporter. She has been working with the Nexstar Austin Bureau at KXAN-TV  since February 2020. She had spent the first few months of her time covering the COVID-19 pandemic.

These include updating the public on the latest information from the governor and other state officials and telling impactful stories of those who have been directly affected by the virus. Prior to moving to Austin, she was the weekend anchor and reporter at KAMR Local 4 News in Amarillo. Asides from this, she has loved being able to tell the stories of people in the Panhandle and realized she wanted to continue to cover stories that impacted more Texans across the state.

She has had a great passion for news her whole life. Glynn was raised in the Chicago area and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. Asides from this, she interned at TODAY’S TMJ4, the NBC affiliate in Milwaukee. Away from work, she enjoys outdoor adventures, which include paddle boarding and hiking. She is also an avid Orangetheory Fitness fan. During the weekends, she enjoys meeting new people and watching the latest series on Netflix.
