Maggye McCallie is an American Meteorologist working with WTVA where she serves the station as a Morning Meteorologist. McCallie joined the WTVA team in the month of April 2021.

McCallie works with WTVA News where she serves the station as a Morning Meteorologist. After being raised in central Arkansas and watching prestigious gorgeous sunsets, snow falling, severe weather, and hot summer days, she was exposed to various weather conditions.

She states that it did not take him long to gain an interest in meteorology and the broadcast industry. Having a heart wanting to help others and a love for science, meteorology was a perfect combination of his passion in life.

For her Mississippi State was the top program and conveniently, the closest. After graduating with her undergraduate degree, she is now in her second year of graduate school. The month of May 2023 saw her obtain her master’s in professional meteorology. Asides from meteorology, she is a lover of softball/baseball, attending church anytime the doors are open, and iced coffee.
