Maria Quiban is an American Anchor/Meteorologist working for FOX 11 Los Angeles/KKTV in California where she serves the station as a Daily Weather Forecaster on Good Day LA. She also works for the station as a Morning News Anchor from 7 AM to 10 AM. She has been working with the station since July 2000.

Quiban works for FPX 11 News where she serves the station as a Weather Forecaster and Morning News Anchor. Asides from her role on FOX 11 News, she also works with MommyLovesTech.com where she serves as a Producer/Host. She has been working with the team since March 2011. Asides from this, she works with QooL Media Studios where she serves the team as an Executive Producer/Co-Founder. She has worked with the team since March 2012.
Prior to joining the FOX 11 News team, she worked for Orange County News Channel(OCNC) where she was anchoring the evening weather news at 5, 6, 9, and 11 PM. She also previously anchored the weather news for NBC News Hawaii between June 1995 and July 1998. There, she was serving the station as a Weather Anchor. Her family immigrated to Hawaii when she was about 10 years old. When she was in Honolulu, she graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she was studying Journalism. The year 2005 saw her earn her Meteorology Degree from Mississippi State University.

Quiban has been married thrice. Her first husband was known as Quiban whom she later divorced. The 9th of September 1999 saw her get married to her second husband named Brian Messner who she divorced and married her third husband, Sean Whitesell in the year 2005.
Whitesell, unfortunately, passed away on the 28th of December 2015 as a result of glioblastoma multiforme, a rare Cancer Disease. He had fought this disease for 18 months. From then on she became an advocate for glioblastoma and Brain Cancer Awareness. Asides from this, she volunteers her time to talk to young mothers from her own experience as a single mom.
