Congedo moved to Savannah, Georgia where she worked as an anchor and reporter for 3.5 years. There, she covered national stories such as the Murdaugh murders and the hunt and recovery of Quinton Simon. She also broadcasted the city’s largest occasion, i.e. the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. She was even chosen to fly with the United States Navy Blue Angels, an experience she’ll never forget
