Mark Schnackenberg is an American meteorologist working for KWWL as the chief meteorologist. He joined KWWL in January 1995,
In December 1994, he graduated from Lyndon State College in Vermont where he earned a Bachelor of Science in meteorology. Schnackenberg is a member of the National Weather Association (NWA) and the American Meteorological Society (AMS). In recognition of the quality of his television weather broadcasts, he was the American Meteorological Society awarded him their Seal of Approval. In addition, he has seen almost all types of weather that Iowa has to offer in the 25 years he has resided in the area.
