Spillane works for KSPR as a sports reporter. While growing up, he was a New York Giants, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Devils fan and enjoys broadcasting the Chiefs, Blues, Missouri State, Cardinals, Royals, and all the schools around the Ozarks.
After graduating college, Spillane secured an assignment desk job at MLB Network and NHL Network in New Jersey. He worked there for almost a year and won a Sports Emmy Award for his work as MLB Tonight’s associate producer.
In 2016, Spillane relocated to Wisconsin to begin his reporting anchoring career in the Northwoods of the cheese state. There, he broadcasted the Packers, Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and all of the local high schools. A year after working in Wisconsin, he won a 2nd place award for “Best Small-Market Sportscast” from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
