Matthew White is an American Anchor and Reporter working for WCIA Channel 3 serving as a weekday morning and noon anchor alongside Karina Rubio. Before joining WCIA-TV, he worked as a morning and midday anchor at WNKY-TV in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

White attended Manchester University in 2013 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies and Communication in 2014. While there, he worked at the school Campus radio and was also a team member of the Baseball team. Later on, Matthew enrolled at Indiana State University where he also received a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies in 2017. During his time at Indiana University, he worked as a director and Deejay at 89.7 WISU and 90.7 WZIS radio station. In his junior year, he changed his path from being a sports reporter to a morning anchor.

He also anchors the Good Day Siouxland solo show and appears as an evening anchor at 5, 6, and 10 pm. Previously, he worked as a morning and midday anchor at WNKY-TV in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As a newcomer, he started by working as a co-anchor for the morning show, Good Day Siouxland before later working as a morning anchor. While there, White anchored a morning midday show where he delivered daily stories and filled in as a host. He also anchored a weekly sponsored segment called “Monday Motivator.”
Prior to working for WNKY-TV, Matthew worked as a studio service at Heartland Media, LLC in Terre Haute, Indiana. Later on, he secured a position as a multimedia journalist at the same station working there from February 2017 to January 2018. While there, Jacob was in charge of various duties such as editing videos, conducting interviews, and assisting in shooting high school football games. Besides this, he also worked as a photojournalist and night-side editor for the evening newscasts.
Before joining Heartland Media, White worked as an intern at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis from December 2016 to January 2017. He also worked together with Steve Jefferson where he covered crime reporting and wrote scripts as well as editing packages. Before working at WTHR-TV, Jacob worked for Emmis Communications as a producer from November 2014 to January 2017.
He started his professional career as a sports intern at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana. At WISH-TV, Matthew was responsible for editing videos, logging drivers & their car numbers, and conducting interviews. He also wrote daily sportscasts coverage including Indianapolis Pacers Indianapolis Colts, and Indy 500. Aside from working as a journalist, Matthew served as a marketing coordinator at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana. He is also involved in several charitable organizations such as Terre Haute Humane Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland.
