Imperato has won multiple awards for her journalism work including two New York State Broadcasters Association awards for Outstanding Public Affairs Series. In 2011, a Long Island Newspaper voted her Best Local TV Reporter. Additionally, she received the Carol M. Baldwin Foundation’s Penni Hartnett Community Service Award for her efforts to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Research.
