Michelle Millman Biography
Michelle Millman is an Emmy-Award-Winning Anchor/Producer/Reporter working for KIRO7 News in Seattle, Washington where she serves the station as a Morning and Noon Shows Anchor. She has held this role since the month of November year 2012. Millman joined the station working as a News anchor/reporter/associate producer in March 2012.

Millman attended the University of Washington where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Media Studies. While there, she was a proud member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and was awarded the most inspirational senior by the KD Sisters. In the course of her career, she has been honored with the American Lung Association’s Outstanding Mother Award, Evening Magazine’s Best of the Northwest female news anchor award & the American Cancer Society’s volunteer award.

Through her relentless work on behalf of cancer, she began after first being diagnosed in the year 2008 with thyroid cancer and then breast cancer. She states that the most rewarding part of being in “the club” is helping those newly diagnosed navigate all those worries that come with such scary news. Millman states that she loves giving back to numerous cancer causes, especially those who cannot afford treatment. She also gets so much out of helping Habitat for Humanity, Seattle Children’s Hospital & animals. This includes volunteer work with salmon restoration.
