Mike DiPasquale is an American award-winning sports anchor working at WSVN Channel 7. He has worked for this station since joining in 1997.

DiPasquale serves as the sports anchor and reporter at 7News WSVN Monday through Sunday. He previously worked in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as a sports reporter and anchor. He also spent several years working for CNN and FOX where he enclosed Major League Baseball’s All-Star game. Some of the other stories and events he enclosed include Super Bowl, the World Series, and the 1996 Olympic Park bombing.

Ever since he started his journalism career, he has managed to win quite a number of awards including the Ohio Associated Press Sport’s reporting award as well as Cleveland’s Award for Excellence in Journalism. He is also an active member of the U.S. Weightlifting Federation and the U.S. Olympic Bobsled Federation. In addition to this, he is also a member of the 1995 4-man national bobsledding champions where he won second place in the 1994 Ohio Olympic Weightlifting competition.

DiPasquale also won a gold medal in Olympic Weightlifting in 2009 and 2010 during the Annual Sunshine State Games in Lakeland. He was also awarded with a bronze medal at the U.S. National Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championships in 2014. Furthermore, he also won a Team USA Bronze Medal during the Pan American Championships Olympic Weightlifting in 2019. He is also very active in other sports including hockey and rollerblading.
