Manzoni serves as a freelance reporter and anchor at NBC10 Boston and NECN. He previously worked for ABC affiliate WFTV-TV in Orlando, Florida where he served as a reporter. During his time in Orlando, Florida, he enclosed several stories including the deadly alligator attack at Disney World, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Matthew, and President Obama’s visit to Orlando. Prior to her tenure at WFTV-TV in Orlando, Florida, he worked for WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he also enclosed several stories including the devastating flooding in Richland County and the Confederate flag controversy at the South Carolina State House.
Manzoni went to North Charleston in 2015 and enclosed the Walter Scott police shooting that made national headlines. Some of the other stories he enclosed include the unearthed oversight problems at elder care facilities that put a strain on public safety resources. Prior to joining WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina, he worked for KRIS-TV and KZTV-TV, the NBC and CBS duopoly in Corpus Christi, Texas where he worked for about two years. During his tenure at this station, he enclosed a ton of sex offenders living near elementary schools, exposed a tanning salon that broke the law, and investigated food stamp fraud.
Manzoni also went to the West, where he enclosed the aftermath of the fertilizer plant explosion that gained national attention. He was also among the team members who were honored with a Southeast Emmy award for best newscast in 2015. Manzoni was also recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with an honorable mention in the reporter craft achievement competition. He went to Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York where he attained his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
