Mike Tank is an American anchor/reporter working at WTWO where he serves as a weekday anchor. He joined the WTWO news team in August 2016, after previously working at stations in Florida.
Before he joined the WTWO team, he worked at television stations in Florida, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Carolina. Tank has also served as a voice talent, play-by-play announcer, and host for PGA TOUR Entertainment, ESPN, and Fox Sports, among other cable networks. Not long ago, he operated a video production business in the Atlanta metro area. Southern Minnesota is his native home and he assisted his family to raise livestock, plowing, and planting. While he was in high school, he played basketball and football.
In addition, he has ever driven for seven hours so that he can watch the Terre Haute South take on Bedford North Lawrence and Damon Bailey. He also drove to watch Bobby Knight’s Hoosiers beat Iowa State. Furthermore, his wife graduated from Indiana University and Terre Haute South. Not long ago, his wife, Kristin Dodd-Tank, served as an on-camera meteorologist on The Weather Channel.
