Najahe Sherman is an American anchor working for WFOR-TV serving as an evening news anchor at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 -10 p.m. Previously, she worked at BNC TV News as a host and anchor.

After graduating from high school, Najahe went on to join Kansas University- the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Sherman serves as an evening news anchor at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 to 10 p.m. on WFOR-TV, the CBS affiliate in Miami, Florida. She also fill-in as an anchor at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. where she covers major reports and news. Najahe joined the station in July 2022, after working at BNC TV News as a host and anchor from August 2021 to July 2022. Previously, she spent nearly four years working as a morning and midday anchor before later being promoted to evening anchor at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama.
Before working in Huntsville, Najahe was an anchor and reporter at WKRN-TV News 2 in Nashville. There, she served the station for five years from April 2013 to April 2018. Sherman began her journalism career at KSLA News 12 TV as a reporter and anchor from January 2006 to December 2009. From there, she landed a role as an anchor and reporter at KSHB-TV, and NBC Action News from 2010 to April 2013.
Apart from working as a journalist, Najahe is also a volunteer where she works with various non-profile organizations. Some of the organizations, she has worked with included Stars Dancing for HEALS and the Women’s Economic Development Council where she served as a host and emcee. In addition, Sherman also worked with Boys and Girls Clubs in Louisiana and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization where she worked as a youth mentor. Besides this, she was also a former Mrs. Louisiana America and former NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader.
