Nancy Alvarez is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor/reporter working for WESH as a news anchor/reporter. She joined the station in January 2023. Alvarez is also the vice president of community relations and equity impact. She is well-known for the time she spent working at WFTV where she served as an anchor and reporter from May 2010 till her departure in December 2021.

On March 05, 2021, Alvarez shared on Eyewitness News This Morning that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She said that during her annual breast x-ray, a very small tumor was found in her right breast. Eventually, it turned out to be cancer. During her leisure, she enjoys spending time with her husband, as well as their son and daughter, in Cocoa Beach, since it’s their favorite vacation spot. Additionally, the family likes having a small hangout on a lake near Clermont.
