Natasha Stenbock is an American Chief Meteorologist working for KOIN 6 News CBS-affiliated in Portland, Oregon. She joined the station in November 2017 as a weather reporter and anchor. Stenbock reports the weather for KOIN 6 News at 4, 5, 6, and 11 p.m. Monday through Friday.

After graduating from high school and earning her Diploma in General Education, she had to further her education. She joined Pepperdine University to pursue her career course. After finishing her studies there, she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications. Stenbock will soon have her Geosciences degree from Mississippi State University.

In addition to that, she worked at KFBM in San Diego as a freelance meteorologist. Her career did not stop her from moving from one place to another, she worked at KOVR 13 in Stockton, California as a meteorologist and weather reporter. Red Bull also offered her an opportunity to work with them, she worked as an embedded digital reporter and Web Editor. While there, she covered a historical aerospace event — Red Bull Stratos.
Stenbock broke into the business with a radio job in San Diego, then moved to TV in Redding, California. She has forecast weather in Bakersfield, San Diego, Sacramento, and Minneapolis for over 17 years. “The learning curve was steep, but I loved the adrenaline rush of live TV.” In that, an Austrian skydiver jumped from a floating platform in the stratosphere (127,852.4 ft) and broke the sound barrier with his body in freefall. The scientific mission yielded life-saving strategies for future space travelers.
In 2009, she received the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval. In addition to that, she is an active member of the Oregon Chapter. Stenbock spent the last few years volunteering for the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities and San Diego. Her team won a 2012 Streamy Award and a Sports Emmy for their work.
