Neal Barton is an American Anchor/Director/Podcaster working with KETK as a News Director and anchor of the weekday news at the 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts. He can also be seen on Friday on Live at Five. He has been working with the station since October 2003.

Barton works with KETK News where she serves the station as a News Director and Anchor. He has been working with the KETK as the news director for close to 13 years. While working at the station, he has served in the anchoring, reporting, sports, and weather departments. Asides from this, he has also delivered forecasts for over two decades in major markets such as Nashville, Seattle, and Dallas.

In addition, he was also a guest meteorologist on Good Morning America which airs on ABC for years. While he served in the weather department, he won a number of AP awards for a best meteorologist and for coverage of the Handley/Fort Worth tornado he won an Emmy award while he worked at  KTVT in the DFW market in 2002.

Furthermore, he completed a broadcast meteorologist course and received the seal of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. In 2003, together with his wife, they relocated back to East Texas and together they reside in Tyler. During his leisure time, he enjoys spending ample time with his family, on his farm in Trinity County, near Lufkin, reading, sporting clays, and listening to podcasts, and shooting skeet.
