Norma Ontiveros-Gaspar is an American anchor/reporter/producer at KGET 17 where she serves as an executive producer and anchor. Prior to joining KGET 17 after joining the station in 2004, after previously working at KSNT. 

Juarez, Mexico is her birth home and in 1977, she relocated to El Paso, Texas with her family. Norma attended The University of Texas at El Paso where she earned a degree in Communications and Public Relations before she later relocated to Bakersfield in April 2003.

In 2004, she secured a job at Telemundo Bakersfield where she serves as a producer later on she was promoted to serving as an Executive Producer and in 2009 to anchor/executive producer/reporter. Over the years, she has implemented plans and executed changes that have resulted in the growth of the local Telemundo newscast that started as a 30-minute newscast in October 2004 and has grown to two hours of news a day.

Not long ago, she added a new segment known as Abriendo Puertas to the newscast. The Abriendo Puertas segment opens the door for the community to emphasize consumer awareness, raise concerns, and include education on services and programs provided by local agencies both non-profit and private. During her leisure time, she enjoys singing, Zumba, and spending ample time with her family.
