Olivia Vidal is an American anchor and Reporter working for WVUE-TV as an anchor, reporter, and MMJ. Before joining WVUE-TV in September 2022, she worked as a morning anchor and reporter at KPLC 7 News in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

director. While there, she promoted online apps and sites as well as helped account executives on sales calls. As a director, she served the role for one year and two months from August 2014 to September 2015.
In 2018, Olivia accepted a position as a morning anchor and reporter at KPLC 7 News She served the station for two years and seven months from April 2018 to October 2020. She also co-anchors the morning show at Fox29. Prior to working for KPLC 7, Vidal served as a morning reporter at KSLA News 12 from August 2013 to August 2014. During her time at KSLA News 12, she was in charge of various roles such as writing scripts, editing, and filling in as an anchor. She worked for the station from August 2013 to August 2014 where she conducted live interviews.
Olivia began her career as a multimedia journalist at KPLC 7 News in Lake Charles, LA. Her duties at the station were editing footage, writing scripts, and filling in as a weekend anchor. She spends two years and two months working for the station from July 2011 to August 2013. Earlier, Vidal worked for WAFB TV as an intern where she wrote scripts for SOTS. She also shadowed reporters and conducted interviews with leaders and officials.
Before that, Vidal served as a reporter and intern at Pinedale Roundup from May 2010 to August 2010. While there, she promoted Friday paper every week on K-PIN radio and supervised her Twitter account. She stayed in the station for four months from May 2010 to August 2010.
Apart from working as a journalist, Olivia worked as a communications specialist at Westlake Chemical in Lake Charles. While there, she managed projects, provided stories, and maintained government relations. In addition to this, she is also involved in community work where she is a member of the Junior League Of Lake Charles. Vidal is also a board member of directors for the Alzheimer’s Association of SWLA.
