Omar Tellow is an American former anchor/reporter known for having worked for WTWO as the weekend sports anchor, He joined WTWO in February 2018, after previously working at WPSD.
Tellow joined Sikeston High School in 1992, where he graduated with a diploma in 1996.IN 1997, he joined the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies in 2000.
Prior to joining WTWO, he worked in Paducah Kentucky at WPSD TV where he served as a sports reporter/ photographer. Tellow started his television career at KFVS in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he was a weekend sports anchor. During Omar’s senior year, he interned at KMIZ TV where also worked on the radio doing play-by-play sports. During his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, playing tennis, and playing golf.
