Patrice Clark is an American journalist working for WLBT FOX40 as an anchor since joining the station in October 2016. Previously, she worked for WLOX as the Jackson County bureau chief, fill-in anchor, and reporter.

Clark joined Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana when she finished her high school education. She later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. While there, she served the college TV station and KTIB local radio station as a reporter and anchor. Moreover, she held an internship at FOX 8 News in New Orleans. In 2019, she received her Master Of Science degree in Mass Communication at Jackson State University.

While she was a child, she dreamed of being on TV just like her role model, Oprah Winfrey. She started as a speaker at her church, Greater St. Stephen, and on several city occasions. She worked for AM 940 in New Orleans as a co-host of a local teen talk show.
After graduating college, she relocated to her hometown where she served WWL as an assistant assignment editor. Also, she helped produce “Our Generation,” a youth program. She then moved to South Mississippi where she served WLOX as a tape-editor. However, she was determined to work on-screen. Thus, she worked on her storytelling and writing during her free time. She then secured the Jackson County bureau chief position, making her dream come true. Also, she served the station as a fill-in anchor and reporter.
In 2016, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi, where she continued to tell people’s stories. In this role, she has interviewed former presidents, business leaders, governors, and Hollywood celebrities. Even so, her journalism is driven by helping and informing people in the community. A spiritual person, she credits the Lord for all her blessings including her journalism career.
