Rebecca Kitchen is an American journalist working for KOLO as a news co-anchor on Good Morning Reno since she was promoted in May 2018. She joined the station in May 2012 as a video journalist and has served the station for over a decade. Previously, she worked as a staff assistant for United States Senator Dean Heller.

Kitchen joined the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007 when she finished her studies at Carson High School. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

During her career at KOLO, Kitchen has had many reporting experiences with highlights like broadcasting the 2016 Little Valley Fire and traveling on Honor Flight Nevada alongside her grandfather and other veterans. She earned a nomination for an Emmy award for her work broadcasting the Little Valley Fire.
