Mobley had left the anchor desk at another local television station two years before to pursue a successful real estate career. The Norfolk State University graduate joins the station On Your Side with over 26 years of experience as a news reporter, presenter, and principal anchor.

Mobley was inducted into the Virginia Communication Hall of Fame in 2014. For her work reporting breaking news, she has two Emmy Awards, two Virginia Associated Press Awards, and a Radio/Television News Directors Association Award. She is most proud of being one of three small and mid-sized market newscasters who interviewed President Barack Obama in 2011.
