Ricardo LeCompte is an American Reporter working with WWL-TV in New Orleans where he serves the station as a Sports Reporter. He kick-started his career as a news photographer at MBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge before he landed his first on-air gig as a weekend sports anchor in Wichita Falls, Texas at KFDX-TV.

LeCompte works with WWL-TV where he serves the station as a Sports Reporter in New Orleans. He is a no stranger to the Bayou State and started his career as a news photographer at WBRZ-TV in Bilton Rouge. LeCompte has also worked as a weekend anchor and sports director for KWTX-TV. This was before he ventured East to Greenville, South Carolina, and spending three years as a sports reporter for WYFF-TV. This was before joining the WWL-TV family in the month of September 2017.
He is a self-proclaimed “Air Force brat”, Ricardo has lived in many places including growing up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He is also a proud graduate of Florida State University. When he is not cheering on his Seminoles and is playing pick-up hoops, he attempts playing golf or cooking for the Monday Night Football parties he is hosting. Additionally, he also enjoys telling stories of athletes.
