Rick DeLuca is an American Meteorologist working with WDRB News where he serves the station as an Evening Meteorologist for the 6:40 and 11 PM Weather News. He joined the station in the year 2018.

DeLuca works with WDRB News where he serves the station as an Evening Meteorologist. He was born and raised in upstate New York and developed his passion for weather at a young age. He states that he recalls, “camping out” on the front porch to watch the severe thunderstorms race through bringing heavy downpours, gusty winds, hail, and the highly anticipated phenomenon, of thunder and lightning. Despite the fact that he realizes that it probably wasn’t the safest pastime, it was certainly his favorite.
In order to pursue his passion for weather, he attended The University of Albany. While there, he underwent extensive training during the time in forecasting “boot camp.” Later on, after spending a year in Atlantic City, New Jersey at WMGM-TV, he also began to deliver the weather for WXTF, the Fox Affiliate in Philadelphia. DeLuca made his way to Kentuckiana and is happy to join the family at WDRB. Away from work, he loves traveling, working out, and cooking but loves spending time with family and friends.
