Jenkins anchored part of WTMJ’s broadcast of the unforgettable championship run by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. Also, he helped to lead the broadcast during the initial Milwaukee’s Juneteenth Day Celebration and again in 2022. As an enterprise reporter, he produces weekly in-depth pieces that find and share solutions to problems affecting residents of southeast Wisconsin.

Previously, he worked for WQAD in Moline, Illinois as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Before that role, he served the station as a digital content creator and news video editor respectively. There, he broadcasted the unforgettable 2019 flood, the 2018 gubernatorial race in Illinois, and the race leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
