Ryan Kath is an American national award-winning anchor and reporter working for NBC10 Boston. He has been working for the station since joining in July 2018.

Kath serves as an investigative journalist working for NBC10 Boston uncovering problems, exposing taxpayer waste, protecting consumers, holding public officials accountable, and promoting positive changes in communities. He has managed to win several awards including 16 regional Emmy Awards and five regional RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards. He was also honored by the Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University Awards, a prestigious national honor for an investigative documentary about the missteps surrounding a natural gas explosion at a popular restaurant. In addition to that, he was also awarded an outstanding investigative reporter Emmy nomination due to the past eight consecutive years.
Kath previously worked for WBZ-TV where he served as a reporter. It was here that he earned his 13 Emmy nominations and a regional Murrow Award for investigative reporting. He previously worked for KSHB-TV in Kansas City where he served as a morning reporter for about 8 years.
Kath started his journalism career at KTTC-TV where he enclosed high school sports in Rochester, Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic, City Hall. He went to Boston University’s College of Communication where he attained his degree in broadcast journalism in 2004. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys chasing down his misguided soccer aspirations in the New England over-the-hill league.
