Prior to joining the KIRO 7 News team, she was working for KPHO/KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona. He has also previously reported and anchored the news from every television market in Washington State.
Ryan kick-started his journalism career working with KIMA-TV in Yakima, Washington where he was serving the station as an anchor/reporter. Later on, he went on to join KEPR-TV in the Tri-Cities where he was still working as an anchor and reporter. After working for the station for about three years, he went on to join KREM-TV in Spokane, Washington where he worked both as an anchor and as a nightside reporter.
When he was in Spokane, he reported live from critical events such as the 2014 Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting, the 2016 Washington gubernatorial election, and the 2015 Okanogan Complex Fires. He states that now that he is back in the Northwest(where he says he belongs) he can’t wait to go running along the beautiful Puget Sound. This is an avid aviation geek and one can always find him plane spotting at Sea-Tac.
