Sabrina Wilson is an American Award-Winning Reporter working for WVUE-TV serving as a reporter. Before joining WVUE-TV in September 1996, she served as a radio reporter at WWL-AM in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 2019, Sabrina became the first reporter to cover the nation’s 44th President Barack Obama’s historic inauguration. She has been with the station for more than two decades since she joined in September 1996.
Sabrina started her career at WWL-AM, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans, Louisiana where she served as a news editor and radio reporter. She worked for the station for eleven years from 1984 to 1995. Throughout her career, Wilson has covered multiple news including the North American Leaders’ Summit which included President Bush and the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. For her excellent work at the station, she was honored with Local Award & National awards.
In 2004, Wilson was selected by the National Press Club in Washington D.C. where she worked as a fellowship. There, she covered major breaking mainly focusing on political issues such as presidential politics. Her passion for journalism emerged at an early age when she was attending high school.
Her memorable story is about an orphan child from Africa who was burned and underwent surgery on his “clawed” hands, which made him be brought to Kenner. Aside from working as a journalist, she is also a member of various organizations such as the New Orleans Press Club and the National Association of Black Journalists.
