Kidd began her profession in 1997. She discovered her first radio job, reporting telecommunications traffic from a plane in the skies above Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kidd joined Wesh TV as a Journalist toward the start of her profession. She was tasked with general reporting while there.

Kidd joined Hearst Television as a national reporter in September 2004. She took the machine with a shot. For over 14 years, she has served in the system. In September 2004, Kidd went to the Washington News Agency from Orlando, Florida, where for a long time she filled in as a reporter for Wesh TV’s sister station. She spent most of her career working in Fort Myers, Pensacola, Gainesville, and Panama City on TV stations in the Sunshine State, including news and anchoring positions.

Her roots, however, are in the Cajun country. Sally obtained her degree from Louisiana State University in broadcast journalism. She landed her first radio job, broadcasting airplane traffic records in the skies above Baton Rouge. Sally lives in Washington with her pet beagle, Boudreaux.
