Sarah Alegre is an American Anchor/Multimedia Journalist working with KFXK Fox 51 in Tyler, Texas where she serves the station as a Weeknight Evening Anchor. She has been working with the station since August 2021.
Sarah Alegre Education
Sarah attended the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California, where she studied communication. She also minored in the Entertainment Industry at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. She used her passion for storytelling to further her education at USC, where she took numerous screenwriting classes and worked for Annenberg Media, the university’s independent news organization.

Alegre works with Kfxk Fox 51 where she serves the station as a Weeknight Evening Anchor. Prior to this, she was working with KETK News in Tyler, Texas where she left the station working as a Weekday Morning Anchor. She held this role between June 2021 and August 2021. Prior to this, she was working with the station as a Weekend Anchor between October 2020 and June 2021.
Prior to this, she was working with Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Tyler, Texas where she was working with the station as a Multimedia Journalist. She worked with the team between June 2020 and October 2020. Sarah has also previously worked with the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where she was working with the station as a USC Song Girl. Alegre worked with the station between October 2017 and June 2020.
Alegre has also worked with the USC Department of Public Safety in the Greater Los Angeles Area where she was working with the station Student Supervisor. She worked with the station between August 2017 and June 2020. Asides from this, she also worked with Entertainment Lab between May 2019 and August 2019. She worked with this station in the Greater Los Angeles Area as a Talent Management Intern. This is in addition to working with the station as an Open Studios Intern with IPSY in Santa Monica between June 2018 and August 2018.
