Scott Roberts is an American storm chaser working at KWCH 12 where he serves as a weekday and weekend storm chaser. He started chasing and covering storms at KWCH 12 in 1981.
Roberts saw his first tornado as a reflection in the radio studio window during live coverage of a storm east of Pratt. Prior to joining KFDI in 1998, he worked at stations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Since 2005, he has actively chased storms and after the KFDI Mobile Units, he graduated to storm coordinator at KWCH12 for the 2003 and 2004 seasons. In addition, to storm chasing, he enjoys traveling, photography, and spending ample time with his family.
