While there, she worked as a sports reporter at NewsVision and UMTV’s SportsDesk from January 2018 to August 2019.

After that, Danquah accepted a position as a communication and production intern from August 2019 to February 2020. As an intern, she was in charge of shooting game footage for ESPN and ACC Network. In addition to this, she also played for the University of Miami’s Women’s tennis team.

During her tenure at WCTI-TV 12, she was in charge of creating daily content, editing, reporting, and writing stories.

Sharon also covered exclusive reports including the 2020 presidential election, the death of Andrew Brown Jr., and the destruction of the hurricane in Eastern North Carolina. Additionally, she also reported the CNN crews as they shed light on an ongoing investigation and exposed poor and mold air quality in schools. She served the station for more than two years from February 2020 to March 2022.

Danquah started her career at JoyNews in Accra, Ghana where she served as an intern reporter. During her time there, she produced various packages, gathered news, and edited videos. She also covered significant news such as shedding light on traffic issues and uncovered poor quality food. Sharon served the station for three months from June 2019 to August 2019. Apart from working as a journalist, Danquah served as a production assistant at Florida Film House from June 2018 to August 2018.
