Stacey Butler is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist, who joined the CBS2 News team in June of 2004. Before joining CBS2 she was working as a general assignment reporter at NBC. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University.

Bulter started her Television career in Redding, California at the ABC affiliate KCRK after she Graduated from Loyola University. Later she moved on to Salt Lake City and worked at the NBC affiliate, KSL as a general assignment reporter where she worked for five years.
She won a regional Edward R. Murrow award for her coverage of an Olympic hopeful’s battle with rare cancer. In 2010 she won an Emmy for her stories from Fort Irwin. She spent several days in the simulated Iraqi town of Medina Wasl where soldiers learn how to fight in Iraq. She has also received the Golden Mike Award for best feature reporting on midlife women uprooting their lives and moving to Mexico.
