Sanchez serves as the anchor of the PIX11 Morning News from 6 – 10 a.m. on weekdays. She previously worked at CBS New York|WCBS-TV where she served as a general assignment reporter from June 2000 to August 2021. Prior to that, she worked at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wis. where she served as a weekend anchor. She had also spent several years working at WISN-TV in Milwaukee where she served as an anchor and assistant producer.
Sanchez is also one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the U.S.” in 2009 by the Filipina Women’s Network. She was also awarded The Outstanding Filipinos In America Award (TOFA) in 2017. Sanchez was honored for her work, winning a Midwest Emmy award, a Golden Eagle CINE award, and a Wisconsin Television Association award. She has won acclaim for hosting an affecting documentary on the battle of a young woman with Anorexia Nervosa, “The Discovery of Dawn.” Sanchez does have a B.A. Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, in radio and electronic media.
