Stephanie Oswald is an American journalist working for WGNO as a host of Nola Marketplace and a reporter. She joined the station in February 2014 and has served the station for more than half a decade. Since November 2022, she has served Travelgirl, inc. / Travelgirl Magazine as an owner, co-founder, and editor-in-chief.

Oswald was the first drastic weather web correspondent for The Weather Channel. In this role, she broadcasted hurricanes with Jim Cantore in 2004. In 2008, she launched her show, All-Girl Getaways, on the Fine Living Network. The show gained more buzz than any show in the show’s history.
Being one of the nation’s premier travel experts, she also worked as the founding editor of Travelgirl Magazine and www.travelgirlinc.com. This was after the initial national publication debuted after 9/11. The New York native has lived in Boston, Paris, Atlanta, and Strasbourg.
Before joining WGNO, she worked for CNN New Day with Chris Cuomo as an editorial producer. Also, she served the network as a writer, producer, and correspondent for CNN and CNN International, based out of the CNN Gulf Coast bureau.
