Kelley is a self-employed meteorologist in Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA. He previously worked for NECN and NBC 10 Boston where he served as a meteorologist till his departure in September 2021. During his tenure at NECN and NBC 10 Boston, he made forecasts from scratch including make-up and graphics for on-air presentations.
From January 1989 to August 1991, he worked for WLNE-TV Providence where he served as a meteorologist and environmental reporter. While here, he broadcasted alongside John Ghiorse and also reported and co-hosted the station’s 5 pm forecasts. He also interviewed Bob Keeshan, John Wait, and Tommy Chong.
Kelley joined Lyndon State College where he attained his BS, in Meteorology and TV Broadcasting in 1987. During his time in college, he was active in several activities and societies including Sigma Psi President, and Student Senate (so we could vote to get Burke Ski pass as part of the Student Activity Fee and Class of Lundstedt. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
