Tom Garris is an American anchor and reporter working for Action News 4 (WTAE). Prior to that, he was working at NBC 5 since January 2018.

Garris is a recent graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, where he earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Economics. During his final semester, he was the main correspondent and anchor for ICTV Reports, a long-form news magazine. In February 2016, he and several other students aided NBC Nightly News in covering the South Carolina Republican Primary.
He is from the suburbs of Philadelphia and interned at two area television news stations, Fox29 (WTXF) and NBC10 (WCAU). When he is not working, you can find Tom snowboarding in the Green Mountains or cheering on Philly sports teams.
