Chinn works with WDRB News where she serves the station as an 11:30 AM and Noon Anchor/Reporter. There, he was working as a co-anchor for the 11:30 and Noon newscasts weekly where he writes stories under a tight deadline. Prior to this, he was working with KDLH-TV in Duluth, Minnesota Area.

There he was serving the station as a Weekend Anchor/Reporter between June 1999 and June 2001. While there, he was producing and solo-anchoring weekend newscasts. Asides from this, he was reporting for newscasts during the week.
