Vanessa Paz is an American traffic anchor working at ABC 10News as the morning traffic anchor and reporter. Previously she worked at KGW in Portland, Oregon.
She attended California State University, Los Angeles where she received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. While attending CSULA, Vanessa interned for Dateline NBC as an executive producer assistant. During her tenure, Vanessa was listed in the credits for Dateline’s special “The Dr. Conrad Murray Trial” as a producer assistant. She went on to intern for KNBC as a reporter assistant and contributor.
She landed her first official role in TV news when she was offered a reporter position for KVAL/KMTR News in Eugene, Oregon. A year later, she was promoted to weather anchor. In Eugene was where she was able to grasp all newsroom duties while producing, writing, shooting, editing, and filling in as an anchor and weather reporter.
